The Yves Rocher Foundation, created in 1991, under the aegis of the Institut de France, is working to improve the environment. Since 2002, in France and throughout the world, the Foundation has rewarded women who lead actions that benefit nature and humanity, Terre de femmes, Women of the World.
This international award is presented on Women’s Day at the Institut de France in Paris.
The Terre de Femmes Awards reward actions that:
ü improve the environment
ü contribute to the protection of the plant world
ü benefit mankind
ü take place throughout the world
ü are exemplary and inspirational
ü embody the values of eco-citizenship
ü are sustained by passion and devotion
Any woman age 18 and above who is working on a program that benefits nature and humankind is eligible and encouraged to submit an application.
For the Fourth Annual Terre de Femmes Awards, applications will be reviewed by juries composed of members of the Institut de France, the Yves Rocher Foundation and representatives from various media outlets environmental organizations.
