Short course on evidence-based HIV/AIDS programmes, Toronto, Canada, 19-23 August 2006
The course, organised by the International AIDS Society (IAS) and the Centre for Global Health Research (CGHR), aims to enhance the response to the epidemic by strengthening evidence-based policy and programme development in resource-limited settings. It is designed for programme managers and policy makers working in government or non-governmental organisations who are responsible for determining national/state HIV policy or delivering large-scale prevention, care and treatment programmes. Thirty applicants from low and middle-income countries will be selected to enrol in the short course.
