PoA Enhanced Compensation 23 December 2011

Gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, dated 23rd December 2011 amending the Schedule (Annexure I) of Rule 12(4).

The ministry has enhanced the relief and compensation amount under SCs & STs (PoA) Rules 1995, ranging
from Rs.50,000/- (in case of violation of right to franchise)
upto Rs.5,00,000/- (in case of murder of an earning member of family) and also
increasing widow /dependant pension to Rs. 3,000/-.
