4th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention (IAS 2007)

Bringing together the world of HIV science to address the challenges of research, prevention and treatment

The International AIDS Society (IAS), together with the Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM) will host IAS 2007, the largest HIV conference ever to be held in Australia . The conference will feature reports on the latest developments in the area of basic, clinical and prevention science, with particular emphasis on the Asia-Pacific region.

Scientists, researchers, policymakers and other professionals working in the field of HIV/AIDS will arrive in Sydney for this influential conference. Don’t miss out!

How you can contribute to IAS 2007
To ensure that your key areas of interest are represented, there are a number of ways in which you can get involved with the conference:

Submit an abstract
Abstract submission will be open from 10 December 2006 to 7 March 2007. All abstracts will be blind-reviewed by an International Reviewing Committee for consideration as an oral presentation, poster discussion, poster exhibition or inclusion on the abstract CD-ROM. Visit the conference website to submit your abstract.

Submit an idea for a non-abstract session
All members of IAS or ASHM are invited to submit proposals for a non-abstract driven session. All proposals will be reviewed by the Scientific Programme Committee for consideration for the final conference programme. Submission will be open online from early November until 10 December 2006.

Showcase your organisation
Exhibition space is available for you to promote your services, products or programmes.

Register as a volunteer
The IAS 2007 volunteer programme will shortly be open for you to register your interest. Volunteers will be needed for the following areas:
Registration and front of house duties
Exhibition co-ordination
Speaker liaison and programme management
IT/AV co-ordination
Logistical support (traffic flow, conference preparation)
Media support
