International environment journalism prize (1April)

Journalists from around the world who report on the environment are
invited to submit their best work for an international journalism prize. The deadline for submissions is April 1.

Organized by the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ), the
awards aim to raise awareness of environmental issues by improving the standard and profile of environmental journalism.

Reports should focus on an environmental topic and should have been published or broadcast from March 1, 2006, to February 28, 2007.
Submissions should include a complete English translation if the
original is in another language.

The competition is organized into nine categories including a most
promising student. The winner in each of the nine categories will
receive US$1,000.
